'Pieces of Me' for Artworks East, London
I assisted with the curation of The ‘Pieces of Me’ with the gallery owner Leia Davies and Head Curator Nadia Thompson in a new Leyton Art Gallery. I organised the applicants packaging on Excel to ensure easy collection for the take down of the show. I predominantly assisted Nadia with the install and layout of the gallery walls.
The exhibition included over 40 artists from 14 different countries expressing their artistic identity through film, clay, metal, cloth and paint.
Packaging Organisation
As these items were coming from overseas it was crucial to preserve the protective wrapping to insure the artworks could return safely after the show. This meant storing and organising the packaging so it could be safely return to its address. We labelled the packaging and documented the information on a spread sheet to ensure easy pack up at the end of the exhibition.
